Company

Founded in 2018 by CPAs, tax attorneys, and software developers, TaxBit is creating an entirely new category to enable widespread compliant adoption of digital assets for the global economy. TaxBit’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform streamlines and automates customers’ tax reporting and accounting activities for digital assets.

Trusted by leading crypto, tech, and traditional enterprises, Big 4 accounting firms, and government agencies (including the IRS), TaxBit solves compliance challenges at scale amidst an ever-evolving regulatory landscape. TaxBit is backed by leading Silicon Valley VCs with teams located in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Washington, D.C.

Opportunity for Impact

We’re looking for a high-performing Executive Business Partner (EBP) based in Europe to support members of TaxBit’s senior leadership team, with primary day-to-day focus on one executive. This role goes beyond calendar and travel management. It’s about operating as a true right-hand partner — helping drive forward priorities, manage small projects, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and serve as a point of leverage in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

As a central player in the leader’s extended team, you’ll bring order to complexity, proactively handle business operations, and act as a force multiplier across time zones. You’ll own not just execution, but also anticipation — identifying gaps, tracking progress, and removing friction from daily operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, day-to-day support for senior leaders, with primary responsibility focused on one executive’s workflows, planning, and deliverables
  • Manage complex calendar coordination, travel, and logistics across multiple time zones
  • Lead or coordinate small projects and operational initiatives across functions
  • Build and maintain tracking tools, dashboards, or light-touch processes that drive visibility and momentum
  • Help plan, track, and support team priorities, including OKRs, KPIs, and milestone delivery
  • Own the logistics and success of meetings, team offsites, and internal events — including preparation, production materials, and follow-ups
  • Communicate across stakeholders to keep actions moving and priorities aligned
  • Collaborate with IT/Engineering and other departments to ensure smooth technical operations and workflows
  • Continuously improve how this role supports the function and scales with TaxBit’s growth

Professional Qualifications

  • 10+ years of total experience in executive support, business operations, or project coordination
  • Proven ability to support senior leaders and manage competing demands under pressure
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, Airtable, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and proactively, especially in distributed teams
  • Experience managing priorities, timelines, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly build trust, manage up, and maintain discretion

Personal Characteristics

  • Strong sense of ownership — you take pride in execution and follow-through
  • Naturally proactive — you anticipate needs before they arise
  • Calm under pressure — you’re comfortable juggling ambiguity and tight timelines
  • Collaborative and humble — you can flex your style depending on the situation
  • High standards — you care about doing things the right way and are always improving

Benefits & Perks

  • Competitive cash compensation (based on experience)
  • Equity (RSUs)
  • Pension Contributions
  • Fertility Benefit
  • Competitive benefits package
  • Discretionary Time Off - enjoy the flexibility to rest, refuel, and recharge
  • Autonomous work and flexibility in how work is performed

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
