Position Overview

Accordion has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to support our US Head of Data and AI and to provide ad hoc floater support to our current senior leadership team across the US.

This position will ideally be based in NYC. If not currently based in NYC, candidates must be able to work Eastern Time hours.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide top tier Executive Assistant support to our US Head of Data and AI, as well as ad hoc floater support to our current senior leadership team across the US
  • Consistently manage all aspects of complex and dynamic calendars, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and prioritizing tasks with a high sense of urgency and a proactive mindset
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (both domestic and international), including booking flights and accommodations, preparing itineraries, and submitting expenses
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents with strong attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Exhibit adaptability and resiliency in our fast-paced, high-growth environment
You Have:
  • High school diploma and/or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience providing Executive Assistant support for a senior leader (Managing Director) required
  • Experience in a Private Equity, consulting, or technology environment preferred but not required
  • Stellar attention to detail and proven problem-solving skills while balancing multiple tasks on a daily basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, particularly within the office of the CFO

  • Comfortable managing projects with multiple complex workstreams while also focused on your single workstream (you are managing and doing)
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Full of entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a fluid, flat organization
  • Able to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions, and raise issues to senior team members when necessary
  • A team player, able to work with team members across all levels
  • Someone who enjoys mentoring others and doing meaningful work
  • A leader of others; you lead by example

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $90,000 to $110,000 + benefits + bonus (overtime eligible)

Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.
