At Yahoo, the Executive Assistant team is a trusted operational partner to senior leaders — orchestrating schedules, priorities, and communications across a global organization to keep initiatives moving with precision. The team coordinates complex meetings, candidate interviews, and high-visibility events, ensuring end-to-end logistics, clear stakeholder communication, and a seamless experience for all participants.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with a senior Engineering leader, supporting fast-moving technical teams and helping drive execution across key initiatives. You’ll anticipate needs, manage shifting priorities, and ensure the executive’s time and focus are spent on the highest-impact work.
You’ll also join a collaborative and well-connected EA community that shares knowledge and best practices — with strong operational support from Yahoo’s centralized admin network. Responsibilities
Calendar & Meeting Management: Maintain full ownership of executive calendars — scheduling and confirming meetings, reviewing agendas, securing meeting spaces, and ensuring executives are well-prepared.
Travel Coordination: Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including visas, itineraries, accommodations, and logistics.
Expense & Financial Management: Track and process travel expenses, reimbursements, credits, and financial reconciliations through internal systems. Manage invoicing and associated purchase requisitions.
Collaboration: Serve as an important liaison between executives, company partners, and external partners to facilitate workflow.
Office & Facilities Support: Coordinate IT and facilities requests, manage procurement processes, and ensure smooth operational support.
Event Logistics: Assist with logistics for team meetings and events on an ad-hoc basis.
Documentation: Help with creating documents, meeting notes and action items.
Admin community: Work with the broader admin team to provide coverage, support the in-office presence and assist with miscellaneous office planning.
Qualifications
7 years + experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership in a corporate or transformation environment; experience supporting executives in a technical field preferred
Organization and managerial mindset
Proactive and collaborative
Experience handling confidential information in a professional setting
Advanced in Google Office tools and familiarity with tools like Concur, Oracle and other operational management systems.
Experience managing travel logistics and processing expense reports
Knowledge of procurement and office management processes
Experience with event planning and/or project management

The compensation for this position ranges from $65,625.00 - $136,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
