The Role

As a member of our rapidly growing team, you'll play a role in shaping the future of mental health through AI. We're seeking an executive assistant to support our founders, Daniel Reid Cahn and Neil Parikh.

This role will be an unparalleled opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply mission driven company.

In this role, you'll act as the founders’ second brain, ensuring smooth company operations and keeping an eye out for anything that could fall through the cracks. You'll oversee communications for us, coordinate travel, and collaborate with our Head of Operations. You’ll also proactively identify opportunities to help the founders be efficient and the company succeed. Working alongside the founders, you’ll have an unparalleled opportunity to build a startup from an early stage.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the founders’ calendar and schedule, including coordinating meetings and appointments, both remote and in-person.

  • Support the founders’ communications via email and social media

  • Support company operations related to HR, payroll, accounting, vendor management, and various administrative and office management tasks for our New York office, in collaboration with our Head of Ops

  • Organize regular company events and offsites to keep our distributed team synced and build a strong internal culture. You'll help coordinate travel, accommodations, activities, and meals, as well as ensure smooth execution

  • Support the founders with anything that can free up their time

About you:

  • You care deeply about our company and our mission. You’ll be helping to craft the culture and we’ll be holding you to a high standard.

  • You have strong interpersonal skills and bring positive energy to external and internal meetings, phone calls, and email exchanges. You would feel comfortable and excited to represent the company and Founders in various contexts, including speaking to future team members and customers.

  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You’re organized and appreciate effective organizational systems that allow you to multitask, prioritize, and ensure nothing is overlooked. You're proficient in your preferred modern organizational tools, such as Notion, Coda, Asana, Trello, Google Drive, 1Password, Slack, etc.

  • You value attention to detail and hold yourself to a high standard.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for managing multiple tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • You have at least one year of experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment like a tech startup

  • You must be willing to work 5 days a week in our office in Soho (NYC)

What We Offer

  • A chance to join a tight-knit team working on something to change the world

  • Competitive compensation (90th percentile), excellent healthcare

  • Travel between our NYC / London offices

  • Usual startup perks like free lunch in our offices + generous learning budget

  • Work with a crazy passionate team that cares deeply about the impact of our work on mental health

If you're ready for a challenging yet rewarding role in a cutting-edge field, working with two visionary founders, we can't wait to hear from you!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
