Job Purpose:
- The Executive Assistant to the President and CEO at Merrimack Valley YMCA will provide high-level administrative support to ensure efficient operation and management of executive functions. This role is crucial in facilitating communication and coordination within the organization and externally, representing the President and CEO in various capacities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the President and CEO’s schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements to optimize time and productivity.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the President and CEO.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items.
- Serve as a liaison between the President and CEO and internal staff, board members, and external stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and effective communication.
- Conduct research and compile data to assist the President and CEO in decision-making and strategic planning.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of executive projects and initiatives, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
- Manage special projects as assigned by the President and CEO, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Support the President and CEO in external engagements, including community events, speaking engagements, and fundraising activities.
- Maintain and organize records, files, and documentation to ensure efficient retrieval and management of information.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role supporting senior executives.
- Proven track record of managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements for executives.
- Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence for executive-level meetings.
- Familiarity with the operations and organizational structure of non-profit organizations is advantageous.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and communications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
