This position will report into the Global Head, Evidence for Access (E4A) — Specialty Care, a critical function within Sanofi's Specialty Care organization. The E4A Specialty Care team serves as a valued strategic partner with Medical, Commercial, Regulatory, R&D, and Global Market Access on the development and communication of health economic evidence, value dossiers, outcomes research, and payer-facing value strategies to support patient access to innovative therapies.
The Global E4A team works closely with affiliate teams worldwide to generate and disseminate robust health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) evidence, enabling payers, health technology assessment (HTA) bodies, and other decision-makers to recognize the value of Sanofi's specialty medicines. The E4A Specialty Care team is proud to support Sanofi's deep commitment to chasing the miracles of science to improve the lives of patients living with immune-mediated diseases, rare conditions, oncology, and neurological disorders.
The Executive Assistant will be an experienced administrative professional providing high-level administrative and strategic support to the Global Head, E4A Specialty Care. This role requires a complete understanding of the E4A function, its deliverables, and its cross-functional interfaces. The Executive Assistant must demonstrate a strong commitment to professional and ethical standards, including the ability to handle and protect confidential, scientifically sensitive, and commercially sensitive information.

Main Responsibilities
Executive & Operational Support
- Provide comprehensive executive administrative and operational support to the Global Head, E4A Specialty Care, as well as other members of the GMAx and E4A Leadership Teams, as necessary
- Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day flow of administrative operations, including complex calendar management, meeting prioritization, ownership of Microsoft Teams channels, SharePoint sites, and distribution lists specific to supported function(s)
- Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, science-driven environment; proactively organize in-person and virtual events, manage meeting planning and logistics, and arrange domestic and international business travel
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve travel conflicts; generate detailed itineraries including visitor office arrangements and coordination of support needs across satellite and global locations
- Manage timely and accurate processing of expenses in accordance with internal policies and systems (Concur or equivalent platforms)
E4A-Specific Support
- Develop a working familiarity with E4A an GMAx terminology, deliverables, and workflows — including health technology assessments (HTA), value dossiers, cost-effectiveness models, budget impact analyses, and outcomes research publications — to provide contextually informed support
- Coordinate logistics for key E4A milestone meetings, including planning sessions, global evidence generation reviews, advisory boards, and cross-functional value strategy workshops
- Support the preparation and distribution of E4A leadership communications, including team updates, scientific congress calendars, and evidence dissemination trackers
- Assist in coordinating engagements with external bodies, stakeholder organizations, research partners, and contract research organizations (CROs) as directed by the Global Head
- Maintain and organize E4A Specialty Care SharePoint repositories, ensuring scientific and strategic documents are current, accessible, and appropriately governed
Strategic Partnership & Leadership Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Global Head, E4A Specialty Care and the broader E4A Leadership Team to drive operational effectiveness and organizational rhythm
- Collaborate with other Executive Assistants and administrative professionals across Global Market Access, Medical Affairs, R&D, and Specialty Care to coordinate cross-functional operations and share best practices
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the Global Head and internal/external stakeholders, leveraging tact, professionalism, and sound judgment to manage communications and prioritize requests
- Interface with corporate functions including People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Digital & Data, and Procurement to facilitate cross-functional information sharing and process execution
- Capture and prioritize non-routine needs on a real-time basis, tracking due dates and action items to ensure on-time completion
Communications & Technology
- Digitally savvy; compiles and prepares information for presentations using Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, OneNote), SharePoint, Teams, and other corporate platforms and tools
- Supports preparation of correspondence, reports, tables, analyses, presentations, and briefing documents for senior leadership and external audiences
- Leverages AI-enabled productivity tools (including Sanofi's internal AI platforms) to enhance efficiency in document preparation, scheduling, and information management
- Provides a positive, professional presence in answering and prioritizing requests and communications from internal and external stakeholders
- Takes initiative and independently manages special and administrative projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

- E4A Awareness (Preferred): Familiarity with, or interest in health economics, outcomes research, HTA processes, or the pharmaceutical value and access landscape is a strong asset
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 5–7 years of experience supporting senior executives in a corporate or life sciences environment
- Prior experience supporting C-suite or global function heads, preferably in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare organization
- High-level proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneNote
- Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools and digital collaboration platforms
- Experience with travel management platforms (e.g., Concur) and expense reporting systems
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, determine priorities, and operate with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate and identify issues and propose or implement solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Ability to work efficiently across time zones in support of a global leadership team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a global function within a pharmaceutical or life sciences company
- Familiarity with health economics, outcomes research, market access, or HTA terminology
- Experience coordinating scientific or medical congresses, advisory boards, or payer engagement events
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, etc.)
