The Global Business Development department is part of Sanofi Partnering. The mission of Global BD is to seek and execute external growth initiatives to address the Sanofi´s strategic priorities. The key activities of Global BD are the searching, evaluation, structuring, negotiation and closing of strategic deals with external companies beyond Sanofi, involving products and other product-related assets.
Reporting to the Head of Global Business Development, Vaccines the Executive Assistant will be responsible for administrative and coordination support of Vaccines Business Development team, located globally. There will be occasional administrative and coordination support for the larger Sanofi Partnering team.
The successful candidate must be team-oriented and personable; have the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to relate to individuals of different cultures, developing rapport and empathy. Finally, the candidate must present a professional demeanor in order to interface with senior management internally and from external companies.

Main Responsibilities:
Coordinating internal and external meetings involving logistics management and hosting.
Interfaces with staff and senior level managers, and the external network. Ensures a smooth and efficient professional flow of day-to-day operations.
Efficient management of electronic systems to facilitate completion of tasks (Workday, Zoom, Teams, Concur, Sharepoint, etc.).
Actively participate in team meetings and follow up on action items.
Provide project support as needed including conferences, negotiations, and large internal projects
Ensuring timely and compliant T&E expense submissions.
Managing department communication for manager(s) including mail, email, calendar and website updates.
Contributing to the management of external opportunities in coordination with ER&D leads.
Capture and prioritize non-routine needs on a real-time basis, as well as keeping track of manager’s due dates for tasks and action items for on time completion
Making complex domestic and international travel arrangements.
Exercising discretion in handling of confidential material and information.
Providing clerical support including filing, faxing, copying, data entry, etc.
About You
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Strong organizational/communication skills (both verbal and written) required.
Ability to handle confidential matters and information with discretion and diplomacy.
Skilled at working with fellow administrative professionals to coordinate calendars and schedule priority discussions.
Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to support multiple professionals simultaneously.
Experience in interacting with all levels of management and with global colleagues
Ability to prepare documents, presentations, and excel tables with minimal instruction.
Demonstrate proficiency in e-mail, Office365 suite, Outlook calendar and browser usage.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree or equivalent required
Minimum of 5 years administrative experience using Office 365 products
Broad base experience successfully managing a diverse group of leaders with a primary point of support at senior management level
Ability to travel approximately 5% of time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree, prior experience in the Pharmaceutical industry preferred.

The salary range for this position is:
