About Us:

Urbint’s mission is to make communities more resilient. We do this by pairing external data with artificial intelligence to identify areas of high risk and prevent catastrophic loss for utilities and critical infrastructure owners across the country. We are a team of close-knit engineers, subject matter experts, and business leaders who obsess over problem solving, new technologies, and making a positive impact in our communities.

Job Summary

Urbint is looking for a passionate, motivated Events Marketer to join the team and support Urbint’s growth across marketing functions. We’re looking for a smart, multitalented marketer who can contribute both strategically and tactically with effective execution in making our events great.

What you’ll do

  • Build a deep understanding of our customers and their needs.
  • Events: Your primary focus in the beginning will be on event marketing. Events and conferences are highly impactful for Urbint, and we need the person in this role to hit the ground running and help us plan and execute a successful event calendar. This will entail:
    • Planning and managing logistics and budgeting for industry conferences.
    • Partnering with event organizers.
    • Securing and supporting speaking opportunities at conferences.
    • Liaising with agencies for booth and swag needs.
    • Partnering closely with Sales to prepare for events, including account outreach planning.
    • Travel 30-40% to make our events a success.
  • You may also provide support on other marketing initiatives, with the potential to grow your role in these areas over time.
  • This is a role with significant executive exposure; you’ll work closely with our CEO, CCO, VP Sales, and others.

Who you are

  • A growing marketing professional with 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably at a software company, ideally across multiple marketing disciplines including event marketing.
  • Focused: we are a small team with many competing priorities. To be effective in this role you need to be able to isolate where you can have the greatest impact and rigorously prioritize.
  • A self-starter with the ability to be highly effective with minimal direction and supervision
  • A results-oriented marketer who can show the impact their efforts have in relation to larger team and company goals
  • An avid learner who is curious to read up on new industries and meet new people. A genuine interest in the utility industry—worker safety, damage prevention, regulation, methane emission reduction—is strongly recommended.
  • A collaborative, outgoing team player who can work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and People teams, as well as executives.
  • Skills and an interest in creating graphic designs (Figma, Canva) and managing video production is a plus
  • Experience using HubSpot is also a plus.

Benefits

  • Mission Driven - Some companies use AI to serve better digital ads and trade stocks, we seek to make our communities safer and more resilient
  • Competitive compensation package
  • Generous Paid Time off, Paid Company Holidays including Mental Health Days
  • Premium Medical Insurance including eligible dependants
  • Life Insurance, Short Term Disability Insurance, Long Term Disability Insurance
