Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 + equity options

The role

Reporting to the Demand Generation Lead, this is your opportunity to own and scale Ketryx’s events marketing engine. You’ll design and deliver a high-impact mix of owned and sponsored events — including our first owned conference — that attract Fortune 500 attendees, generate measurable pipeline, and contribute directly to six-figure or larger deals while building a category-defining brand that stands above all others as the most innovative in the market.

You won’t inherit a stale playbook — you’ll build it. From planning to flawless execution and sales follow-up, every detail will be in your hands. If you are driven to create brand experiences where every touchpoint delights and inspires, and want to see your work directly fuel growth in industries that change lives, this is your role.

About you

You’re a hands-on operator who has delivered conferences, roadshows, and networking dinners that ran flawlessly and left a lasting impression. Now, you’re ready to channel that energy to create a brand that defines an industry. You keep multiple timelines, teams, and moving parts aligned, overseeing every detail so events land on time, on budget, and at a standard that elevates the brand. You bring a scrappy, “I will not fail” mindset, solving problems quickly under pressure and always finding a way to make things happen, especially if it delights a key stakeholder..

You translate vision into action, take the ball and run with it, and reliably bring plans to life. You’re creative and experience-obsessed, designing events where every touchpoint feels intentional, memorable, and on brand. Most importantly, you know how to work shoulder-to-shoulder with sales — targeting the right accounts, driving attendance, and ensuring strong follow-up that turns event engagement into measurable pipeline.

Responsibilities
  • Launch and manage Ketryx’s owned events from budgeting and vendor coordination to run-of-show and flawless on-site delivery.
  • Lead Ketryx’s presence at sponsored conferences, overseeing booth design, shipping, logistics, and end-to-end execution for maximum impact.
  • Keep multiple timelines, teams, and moving parts aligned to deliver events on time, on budget, and at a standard that elevates the Ketryx brand.
  • Translate vision into action by taking full ownership of events, solving problems quickly under pressure, and reliably bringing plans to life.
  • Partner closely with Sales to identify target accounts, drive attendance, and ensure strong pre- and post-event follow up that turns engagement into measurable pipeline.
  • Design and deliver creative, best-in-class event experiences — from flagship conferences to networking dinners — where every touchpoint feels intentional, memorable, and on brand.
  • Own event strategy, ensuring every program aligns brand, content, and messaging so attendees leave inspired and excited for the next Ketryx event.
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing or field marketing in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record of owning end-to-end event execution — including conferences and networking dinners — with measurable pipeline impact.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a history of delivering complex events on time, on budget, and without last-minute surprises.
  • Creative approach to event design and audience experience, with examples of building events that elevated brand perception and left a lasting impression.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with Sales to drive attendance from target accounts and ensure strong pre- and post-event follow-up that creates pipeline.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience running multi-channel event promotion campaigns (email, social, digital) that consistently drive registrations and attendance.
  • Experience running enterprise events with Fortune 500 attendees and directly influencing six-figure or larger deals.
  • History of consistently tracking ROI and applying an analytical lens to improve event performance.
