About the Role: Event Marketing Manager (Contract)

As an Event Marketing Manager (Contract), you will lead the planning and execution of a high-impact event marketing strategy designed to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and pipeline growth. You will work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, and customer success teams and play a critical role in shaping the future of Federato’s event presence.

This role reports to the Head of Events.

Potential Travel Dates - Travel will not be required for all dates, but will require support across a few of the September programs.

  • September 14, San Diego
  • September 29, Austin 
  • October 20, Scottsdale

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end event management, including goal setting, budgeting, vendor coordination, contract negotiation, on-site execution, and post-event debriefs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product to ensure events align with broader company goals.
  • Drive lead generation and pipeline acceleration through engaging experiences and streamlined pre- and post-event workflows.
  • Partner with design and content teams to produce on-brand event assets and promotional materials.
  • Manage event budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high standards.
  • Evaluate event performance through detailed reporting, ROI analysis, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and key partners for smooth execution.

Role Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, ideally within tech or SaaS environments.
  • Proven success managing events that drive measurable marketing and sales outcomes.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget control.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with executive stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at juggling multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Willingness to travel for event setup and onsite execution.

Contract Terms

  • Duration: This is a contract position running from August 18 to October 31, 2025, with potential for extension based on performance and company needs.
  • Commitment: The role requires full-time availability (approximately 40 hours/week).
  • Location: Remote-first, with occasional travel required for onsite event execution.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or monthly retainer, commensurate with experience.
  • Extension & Conversion: While not guaranteed, there is potential for contract extension or conversion to a full-time role, pending mutual interest and business priorities.
