As a key member of the Public Sector marketing team, you will focus on the planning and execution of in-person and digital events, as well as supporting demand generation programs. This role requires someone who can manage logistics, help create engaging event experiences, and contribute to the overall growth of the business in core markets.
WHAT YOU'LL DOEvent Management
Manage the list and execution of 60+ public sector in-person tradeshows and conferences throughout the year.
Ensure all deadlines for exhibition paperwork, materials, travel plans, and post-event reporting are adhered to.
Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to identify opportunities to increase the quality of our event presence and present to team leadership.
Manage the post-event process of lead upload, distribution, and follow-up communications for all managed programs.
Digital Events & Programs
Help create and manage new digital events series and programs to drive new leads and revenue, as well as account expansion.
Field Marketing Programs
Help ideate and create new in-person field marketing programs to drive increased brand awareness and new business.
Manage in-person lunch and learn event planning as well as executive-level engagements for Public Sector leadership.
Demand Generation Support
Assist in the execution and support of other demand generation programs for the growth of the Public Sector business unit across the US and key international regions.
Reporting and KPIs for Events
Help develop measurement frameworks to understand the efficacy of Veritone Public Sector’s in-person and digital events channels.
Work across teams to ensure that processes to capture data around event KPIs are clear and consistent.
Example Work Deliverables
Project plan for 60+ in-person tradeshows and conferences, including vendor selection, contract deadline dates, and on-site execution tasks.
Develop a comprehensive plan for a new digital event series, including content strategy, speaker recruitment, and promotion plan.
Create marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and booth displays, for tradeshows and conferences.
Coordinate with sales teams to ensure effective lead capture and follow-up at events.
Track and analyze event performance metrics, such as attendance, lead generation, and ROI, and provide recommendations for future events.
Travel Requirements
25-40% Travel expected (US only)
WHAT YOU'LL NEED2-4 years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or public sector industries.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and programs simultaneously.
Experience in planning and executing both in-person and digital events.
Creativity in developing engaging event concepts and programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
Basic understanding of digital marketing channels.

This base pay is for illustrative purposes only and will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
