Role OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to lead our high-impact event initiatives at Vitable. Events are our highest ROI marketing channel (9-10x return), and we need dedicated ownership to maximize this opportunity across 25+ annual events while scaling to new verticals and markets.
This role combines creative marketing expertise with project management skills to deliver impactful experiences that engage our target audience and generate measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Execution: Develop comprehensive event strategies, research industry events, build organizer relationships, and oversee end-to-end planning from concept to post-event analysis
- Lead Generation & Marketing: Implement engagement touchpoints throughout event lifecycle, develop follow-up strategies, create multi-channel promotional campaigns, and manage event websites/registration platforms
- Performance & Optimization: Track metrics to maintain 9-10x ROI, analyze attendance and revenue attribution, conduct post-event surveys, and develop KPIs for different verticals
- Project Management: Create detailed timelines and budgets, manage vendor relationships, coordinate logistics, and ensure quality standards across all events
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business
- 3-5 -years event marketing experience with proven track record managing 15+ annual events
- Experience with high-ROI programs, lead generation, and B2B marketing
- Strong organizational, relationship management, and communication skills
- Preferred: Event planning certification, marketing automation platform knowledge (HubSpot, Marketo), design software proficiency
- Local to the Philadelphia office - This is a remote position; however, in-person visits to the office will be necessary to retrieve or drop off materials related to events, marketing, or storage.
This position requires at least 30% travel for event attendance, vendor meetings, and regional customer events across different states. Some evening and weekend work may be required during peak event seasons and for proprietary Vitable events.
