Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
We are looking for an outstanding Employee Relations Partner with a passion for delivering appropriate solutions for employees and leaders, while contributing to our team culture. You'll be joining the People Team at a very exciting time as we continue to grow and scale our business!
This ER Partner will be responsible for providing employee relations support, including resolving employee concerns and supporting people leaders in navigating complex employee issues. This is a great opportunity to work on novel issues in an exciting environment.
You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with change and the ambiguity that sometimes comes with it. You are enthusiastic, flexible in your approach and open to learning. You have strong coaching muscles, while leading with empathy and balance.
What you'll do

  • Advise and coach managers on navigating complex employment issues.
  • Work with managers to address and manage complicated performance management scenarios
  • Lead workplace investigations into high-risk concerns and employee grievances. Partner with managers to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to global Employee Relations projects.
  • You primarily will work with managers and employees across Atlassian's businesses in the United States.

Your background

  • You have significant Employee Relations experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ER practices, including investigations and performance management.
  • Expertise in employment laws and regulations, ideally with experience with the employment framework in the United States.
  • Skills in identifying problems and using fact-based analysis to develop efficient solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex recommendations clearly and concisely.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Salary: $104,200 - $138,900
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
Please visit go.atlassian.com/payzones for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones. However, please confirm the zone for your specific location with your recruiter.
