Drive regional sales and project development for dispensing and curing equipment. Build and maintain relationships with machine integrators and vendors, identify customer requirements, coordinate with engineering and product teams, monitor market and competitors, and provide primary customer support and technical problem solving.
Your Tasks:
- Lead project and sales development efforts for dispensing and curing devices within the defined region/area, with a focus on cultivating, preserving, and expanding the customer base, including machine integrators and potential non-adhesive customers
- Establish and nurture relationships with machine vendors and integrators to strengthen partnerships and enhance collaboration
- Identify and analyse customer needs, and collaborate in the development of comprehensive requirement profiles
- Work closely with other Regional Sales Engineers and trade/distribution partners to ensure seamless coordination and cooperation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries related to the equipment and providing comprehensive support
- Proactively monitor the market, conducting analyses of new technology trends and concepts, as well as tracking competitive activities at specialized fairs, company presentations, and technology days
- Maintain a constant flow of information through collaborative efforts with the equipment engineering team, product management, marketing, and other sales engineers
Your Skills:
- You are located in the Greater Sudbury Area (MA)
- Background in engineering, such as mechanical engineering or process engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical environment, with a preferred additional 3 years of technical sales experience. Experience with equipment and installation is advantageous
- Knowledge and experience with industrial equipment, including but not limited to laser cutting, cleaning equipment (e.g., semiconductor industry), and automation components
- Exposure to various industries such as electronics, microelectronics, manufacturing, displays, mobile devices, consumer goods manufacturing, automotive, with a preference for familiarity with mass production and fully automated processes
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems, showcasing a strong technical acumen
- Willingness to travel to engage with clients and stakeholders
