- Provide input and feedback to the individuals as required
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and productivity enhancement in Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area and team to meet business objectives
- Manage other teams responsible for credit process as well
- Collaborate and consult with Equipment Finance Underwriting peers, colleagues, and multiple managers to move out routine operational activities
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Equipment Finance Underwriting
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Equipment Finance Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in equipment finance, commercial lending, dealer finance, or floorplan financing
- Experience developing new business and managing commercial client relationships
- Strong financial analysis and credit skills, including reviewing financial statements and assessing credit risk
- Experience structuring, negotiating, and executing commercial lease or loan transactions
- Ability to partner effectively with sales, credit, risk, operations, legal, and other internal teams
- Experience managing multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and personal accountability
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
- Experience supporting AI initiatives and process improvements to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance business processes.
