The Epic Ancillary Lead Analyst will lead Epic Ancillary application initiatives, optimize workflows, support upgrades, and mentor analysts in a healthcare setting.

Superlanet is seeking an Epic Ancillary Lead Analyst for our healthcare client in Texas. This is a remote, direct hire opportunity with quarterly travel required. This role is responsible for leading Epic Ancillary application initiatives across complex healthcare environments, supporting clinical, procedural, diagnostic, and operational workflows across multiple Epic platforms. This position serves as both a senior technical leader and operational partner to clinical departments, ancillary leadership, and IT stakeholders.
- Lead Epic Ancillary application support, optimization, and strategic initiatives across enterprise clinical operations
- Serve as the primary SME across combinations of ancillary applications
- Partner directly with clinical leadership, operational stakeholders, physicians, nursing leadership, and IT leadership to improve workflow efficiency and application utilization
- Lead workflow analysis, system design, build validation, testing, issue resolution, and optimization efforts
- Support enterprise Epic upgrades, enhancement initiatives, governance efforts, and long-term application strategy
- Coordinate across cross-functional Epic teams including Ambulatory, Inpatient, Revenue Cycle, Integration, and Infrastructure teams
- Mentor analysts and provide guidance on operational initiatives, escalation management, prioritization, and project execution
- Support major initiatives including implementations, expansions, optimizations, and go-live activities
- Drive workflow standardization while balancing operational and departmental needs across ancillary service lines
- Assist with procedural workflow improvements, clinical documentation optimization, and operational readiness planning
- Epic certification in at least one ancillary application
- 5-8+ years of Epic application experience with a strong analyst/build background
- 1-3 years of Team Lead, Lead Analyst, or leadership experience
- Prior Senior Analyst, Team Lead, or leadership experience supporting complex Epic environments
- Deep operational understanding of ancillary clinical workflows and procedural operations
- Experience supporting enterprise healthcare environments with highly integrated Epic applications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner directly with physicians, nursing leadership, operational teams, and executive stakeholders
- Prior implementation, optimization, or go-live support experience
- Multiple Epic certifications strongly preferred
- Certifications and/or strong support experience in applications such as:
- Beaker
- Willow
- Radiant
- Cupid
- OpTime
- Anesthesia
- ASAP
- ClinDoc
- Cupid
- Beaker
- Experience supporting procedural, surgical, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging, or emergency department workflows
- Prior experience within large academic medical centers or complex multi-hospital health systems
- Experience mentoring analysts and leading cross-functional Epic initiatives
- Exposure to interface workflows, device integrations, orders management, and procedural optimization initiatives
- Strong understanding of clinical operations and interdisciplinary workflow coordination
Benefits
Salary based on experience $120,000 - $135,000
