Enterprise Solution Architect
Role and Responsibilities
As part of our Digital, Data and Technology practice expansion we are looking at adding Enterprise & Solution Architect to work in both an advisory and project delivery capacity. In this role, you will play a key role in the delivery of cloud initiatives at scale and be highly visible to senior client stakeholders as you partner with them to shape their hybrid-cloud deployment.
Although this role requires hands-on technical expertise, there is also a requirement for stakeholder management and collaboration with Capco sales teams on business development. Therefore, you must possess the soft skills associated with being a trusted advisor with the ability to tailor your conversation to the audience (CEO, CIO, COO, CDO, Transformation leads, Business leads).
Primary responsibilities include:
Technical
- Develop innovative solutions to financial services, Core banking or Insurance domain problems by partnering across regions, product areas, and functions
- Provide technical leadership in design and development activities on concurrent complex technology and data projects
- Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, and technical presentations, adapted to the needs of different business and technical stakeholders
- Develop and maintain architecture artifact such as solution blueprint, high level design/diagram using 4+1 architecture view / C4 model.
- Ensure security, privacy, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001) are built into architectural designs from the outset."
- Ensure technical solutions are fully integrated into our client's heterogeneous infrastructure via automated pipelines
Collaborative
- Engage with business and executive stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps and enterprise-wide architecture initiatives.
- Collaborate on problem analysis, solution architecture, MVP design, quality assurance, security analysis, and non-functional requirements
- Work with other technical disciplines to harmonize requirements, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose
- Guide and mentor implementation teams to successful delivery, providing technical leadership and developer support
Strategy
- Lead cloud, hybrid-cloud strategy and adoption efforts, advising on multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures, migration planning, and cost optimization
- Define and oversee enterprise data architecture, ensuring support for regulatory reporting, data governance, lineage, and integration across platforms.
Skills and Expertise
- Works as an IT Leader for 15+ of years within the finance sector
- Possesses proven delivery of complex, large-scale IT solutions
- Experience driving product goal, go-to-market strategy, design discussions, creating product roadmaps, launching solutions and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in enterprise technology buying and evaluation process
- Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premises-to-cloud migration deployments/roadmaps
- Experience with Azure, GCP, AWS cloud Well architected framework.
- Excels at presenting to cross-functional and/or executive level stakeholders
- Understands thoroughly and exemplifies Lean, Agile, and DevOps delivery principles
- Deep knowledge of general-purpose enterprise programming languages
- Experience in software development using a general-purpose programming language
- Experience working with modern cloud-native paradigms and technologies
- Experience in domain-driven, micro-service, real-time streaming, event-driven architecture, service mesh, serverless
- Experience in Data & Analytics system design and architecture, data mesh, lineage data pipeline
- Experience with API design, development and open standards to drives distributed architectures
- Knowledge of technology solutions with the ability to learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space
