Enterprise Sales Engineer - US Remote

Position Summary
Serve as the technical lead in the sales process, combining deep product knowledge with industry expertise to deliver tailored software and service solutions for food and beverage manufacturers, retailers, and restaurants. Collaborate with Sales Executives to identify client needs, design custom solutions, and demonstrate value through discovery, presentations, and demos.
Key Responsibilities
Qualify and Pursue Sales Opportunities
Read, interpret, and respond to RFPs
Lead estimation and quoting efforts
Assist Sales Team with lead and opportunity qualification
Co-Lead Opportunity Teams
Shape and communicate the overall solution vision and value proposition
Co-lead core and extended opportunity teams with Account Executives
Ensure messaging, materials, and demos align with customer expectations and timelines
Conduct independent discovery, scoping, and presentation sessions
Discovery, Present, and Demonstrate
Engage stakeholders from C-level to line staff
Lead discovery meetings to define needs and constraints
Create and deliver compelling product demos and configurations
Prepare sales materials and tailored presentations
Address prospect questions and objections
Industry and Community Promotion
Publish thought leadership and promotional content
Represent the company through product and brand evangelism
Support Sustainable Sales Growth
Provide feedback to Product Management on market trends and feature needs
Maintain professional relationships with clients and prospects
Gather insights to improve solution fit and drive additional sales
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in sales engineering, pre-sales, or consulting for software or professional services
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Demonstrated business and sales acumen
Familiarity with enterprise software, architecture, and digital technologies
Extensive experience in manufacturing or retail industries
Strong preference for background in process manufacturing and supply chain solutions
Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments
Location and Travel
Remote position based near a major US airport
Travel up to 25% for customer and prospect engagements
