The Enterprise Sales Development Representative role exists to provide our Account Executives with qualified sales opportunities. Enterprise SDR uses a variety of methods & strategies to proactively engage our target markets and inspire curiosity within our target contacts, so they are interested in learning more about the Perceptyx People Insights Platform. Perform other duties as required.

 

Things You Will Do: 

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation

– Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads through various channels, including online research, LinkedIn, and industry events

–  Coordinate with Account Executives on account plans strategies to engage target accounts within predetermined account territories

– Develop & maintain a pipeline of potential prospects and opportunities

– Cold call and email prospects to introduce the Perceptyx platform, and identify the prospect’s business needs

  • Qualification & Needs Assessment

– Engage with leads in meaningful conversation to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals

– Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure they are a good fit for Perceptyx solutions

– Document prospect engagement, interactions, and insights in the CRM system accurately and comprehensively

  • Effective Communication

– Clearly articulate the Perceptyx value proposition to prospects and personalize communication to better resonate with their specific needs.

– Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads, providing them with all relevant background information

  • Appointment Setting

– Schedule introductory meetings and product demonstrations for the Account Executives with qualified leads.

– Maintain a steady flow of scheduled appointments to support the Account Executives’ efforts.

  • Performance Metrics Tracking

– Monitor and track key performance metrics, including outbound activity, meetings scheduled, and opportunities created

– Track account engagement within territory to assist in strategic planning

– Provide regular updates on performance & successful strategies to Marketing & Sales leadership teams

 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in a B2B sales development or inside sales role for at least 1 year required, with experience selling to Human Resources (HR) buyers ideal
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet & exceed targets
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.) and Sales tools (Outreach, Zoominfo, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated grit/tenacity, overcoming obstacles
 

Education: Bachelor's Degree (4-year) Business, Marketing, or related field    

Work Experience: 5+ years.
