The RoleThe Enterprise Director role is directly responsible for managing both the Metals and Mining revenue growth and maintaining the base of Metals and Mining revenue within a given region of the world. This role is an overlay with the Metals and Mining sales organization and it is a customer facing role that requires self-motivated individuals with excellent business, industry, and sales knowledge.
The Enterprise Advisor will use consultative skills to position AspenTech software and services solutions with our customers both to renew and grow our business. This role will be responsible for the Executive engagements with our Metals and Mining customers and will have ownership over the strategy to build and grow those accounts into Enterprise relationships. The Enterprise Advisor will not directly manage accounts but will work in coordination with the Metals and Mining sales organization. This position will require heavy cross-functional interactions representatives from marketing, pre-sales and product management.

Your Impact

  • Achieve assigned quarterly/annual sales targets for Metals and Mining business
  • Build ‘Ideal pipeline’ for licenses and services in assigned region to drive future business.
  • Build and manage Executive relationships around Metals and Mining technology with key accounts.
  •  Build strong working relationships with sales and sales management within the Metals and Mining sales organization.
  • Define account and opportunity strategies that will drive both short-term wins while setting up long-term Enterprise relationships.
  • Help manage partner relationships that are strategic to the growth within your region.
  • Work closely with peers within the Metals and Mining organization to provide customer feedback and define strategies for the future direction of the business unit.
  • Gather market information from multiple sources, to analyze competition and consumer/market trends.
  •  Effectively negotiate with strength to align with AspenTech's overall strategy and business interests.
  • Exhibit knowledge of industry value chains, business performance, key trends, and investment drivers.
     

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrated success in direct sales of software solutions.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience in selling of high-value software solutions with consistently over quota achievements.
  • Experience building and maintaining Executive relationships is required. Ability to communicate effectively with Executives is a must.
  • Experience working / selling within the Metals and Mining industry is required.
  • Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent English skill (verbal and written) a must.
  • May require 50%+ travel per calendar year, including overnight travel.
