Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated, tenacious, and competitive Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our global team of top-performing sales professionals. In this 100% outbound SaaS sales role, you’ll partner closely with our Marketing and Sales teams to design and execute strategic outreach campaigns that drive new business across the EMEA region.

You’ll be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads, building outbound pipeline, and creating meaningful engagement with prospective clients through cold calls, personalized emails, and creative outreach strategies. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you’ll be surrounded by a collaborative team that celebrates wins and pushes each other to achieve more.

Location Requirement

The ideal candidate will be based on the US East Coast and willing to work EMEA business hours (approximately 6am–2pm ET).

What you’ll do

  • Research and identify strategic target accounts and key decision-makers (budget holders, senior leadership) primarily within companies of 10,000+ employees.

  • Build and manage strategic prospect lists for outbound campaigns and engage contacts through cold calls, highly personalized emails, LinkedIn messaging, and other outbound channels to generate interest and create opportunities.

  • Generate at least 5 qualified sales opportunities per month and hand them off to Account Executives.

  • Conduct high-level conversations with executives (C-Level, VP, Director) to introduce HireVue’s solutions and assess initial fit.

  • Leverage leading prospecting tools, including Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, and Alyce to optimize outreach and engagement efforts.

  • Continuously improve prospecting skills by learning advanced techniques such as account mapping, competitive intelligence gathering, and champion engagement.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the HireVue platform and stay current with product updates and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of outbound Business Development experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment for Enterprise accounts (about 10,000+ employees).

  • Demonstrated success meeting and exceeding outbound activity metrics and opportunity generation targets.

  • Strong ability to learn and communicate complex software solutions clearly and effectively.

  • Skilled in collaborating with Account Executives and Marketing teams to launch effective prospecting campaigns.

  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport quickly over phone, email, and social media.

  • Active listening skills and the ability to uncover business challenges through conversation.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong self-motivation and discipline to work independently and meet aggressive goals.

  • Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce) and prospecting tools (Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6Sense, Alyce).

This position is a work-from-home role. The individual in this role must be able to work from home in an environment free from distractions, where they can attend virtual video meetings.
