  • Conduct technical reviews of existing enterprise systems and produce comprehensive architecture documentation, including system topologies, data flow diagrams, network dependency matrices, and service catalogs.

  • Shape secure remote access and perimeter defense architecture in partnership with cybersecurity and network teams, focusing on security principles, capabilities, and architecture patterns.

  • Guide network segmentation initiatives and the retirement of legacy network overlays to strengthen security and improve infrastructure resiliency.

  • Partner with domain administrators to improve Active Directory and identity architecture, clarify service ownership, and define roles and responsibilities (RACI) for core services.

  • Evaluate enterprise storage, backup, recovery, archival, and data retention capabilities, including Rubrik, NetApp, and cloud storage platforms. Identify gaps and conduct proof-of-concepts to reduce cost and risk.

  • Assess existing observability and monitoring architecture, including AppDynamics, and collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to improve issue detection, incident response, and recovery.
