Description

Simbian® is a mission-driven company to solve security. We provide AI Agents (think of them as agents from The Matrix movie, rather than an endpoint agent) to automate security and help (human) security employees. Our patents-pending innovative Agents will redefine the $200B cybersecurity market. Founded by successful entrepreneurs and industry thought leaders, and backed by top investors, Simbian brings the best out of everyone in a very collaborative and highly dynamic environment.

Our initial use cases support Security Operations Center (SOC) and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams, automating the following:

  • SOC alert triage and investigation
  • prioritization and classification of tickets
  • threat hunting
  • vulnerability and risk analysis
  • security questionnaire filling and evaluation

Our customers report 10x+ gain in their productivity with our product, which is rapidly getting smarter and stronger.

Already been successful with multiple initial customers, we are now seeking go-getter account executives (aka, regional sales managers) to scale GTM for this best in class product. You will be responsible for owning and delivering our product to enterprises and top-tier mid-market customers in your region. You'll receive support of our customers (case studies, references), a helpful around-the-world team, BDRs, sales engineers, and a strong network of friends of the firm.

Requirements

You should have a successful track record of selling SOC related products at an early stage company and are someone who loves bringing the best products to their customers. You are highly motivated and like being on a winning team. You deliver your best and bring the best out of your co-workers.

You should have at least 5 years of experience selling cybersecurity, including some experience with enterprises. You should also have basic understanding of the SOC ecosystem, including vendors/products in SIEM, SOAR, CTI, etc.

This job is remote in USA but you should be located near a large metro with local customer base (SF Bay area, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, etc.). You should be willing to travel as needed for customers, partners, and industry events.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
