Enterprise Account Executive – West Coast (US)

Location: Western United States
Work Environment: Remote

Role Description

Exiger is seeking an ambitious, high-performing Enterprise Account Executive to drive continued growth across the Western United States. This is an opportunity for an accomplished sales professional to make a meaningful impact at a company operating in one of the world’s most urgent and rapidly evolving sectors.

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you’ll do more than sell software—you’ll help complex organizations solve critical supply chain, compliance, and risk-management challenges. You’ll be supported by cutting-edge technology, an experienced leadership team, and partners across Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and other functions.

You’ll own a curated portfolio of high-potential enterprise accounts and approach the territory with a consultative, strategic mindset. You’ll be responsible for creating pipeline, developing senior-level relationships, leading complex sales cycles, and closing transformational deals.

What You’ll Do

Develop and Execute Your New-Business Territory Strategy

  • Build and own a comprehensive territory and attainment plan for your assigned Western U.S. market.

  • Develop strategic account plans for priority prospects with support from Business Development Representatives, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success Managers.

Own the Full Sales Cycle

  • Prospect and acquire new customers while managing complex enterprise sales cycles from initial engagement through contract execution.

  • Conduct thoughtful discovery, develop compelling business cases, deliver value- and ROI-driven presentations, and negotiate strategic agreements with senior stakeholders.

Generate Demand and Build Pipeline

  • Partner with your BDR and cross-functional colleagues to execute outbound strategies that generate meaningful, qualified pipeline.

  • Use creative outreach, digital tools, industry events, partner relationships, and referrals to establish new connections and maintain strong pipeline coverage.

Sell Through Value and Insight

  • Develop a deep understanding of each customer’s business, operating environment, and risk-management priorities.

  • Translate Exiger’s capabilities into clear business outcomes and help customers understand the value of transforming how they manage supply chain and third-party risk.

Work Smarter with AI and Technology

  • Use Exiger’s internal instance of ChatGPT, along with Salesforce, Clari, Outreach, and other sales tools, to research prospects, develop relevant use cases, capture insights, manage opportunities, and work more efficiently.

Collaborate and Close

  • Partner with Legal, Product, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to execute fast, coordinated, and effective sales motions.

  • Maintain accurate opportunity data, forecast consistently in Clari, and keep internal stakeholders aligned throughout the sales process.

Build Strategic Executive Relationships

  • Develop trusted relationships with senior leaders and economic buyers.

  • Connect Exiger executives with customer stakeholders and lead or participate in Executive Value Reviews, strategic roadmap discussions, and other executive-level engagements that deepen customer partnerships.

Contribute to a High-Performance Culture

  • Show up prepared, focused, and ready to support the broader team.

  • Participate actively in forecast calls, sales training, account reviews, and team huddles while sharing insights and best practices that strengthen collective performance.

What Success Looks Like
  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual ACV targets.

  • Maintaining approximately three to five times pipeline coverage.

  • Creating at least one meaningful interaction each week with a new prospect or stakeholder persona.

  • Progressing complex opportunities through disciplined qualification and value-based selling.

  • Forecasting accurately and maintaining complete, reliable opportunity data.

  • Building trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and economic buyers.

  • Earning a reputation internally and externally as a thoughtful, strategic, and dependable sales leader.

What You Need
  • At least 5–10 years of enterprise sales experience, ideally within SaaS, enterprise technology, or another complex solution-selling environment.

  • Demonstrated success managing full-cycle sales opportunities with large or complex organizations.

  • Experience developing new enterprise accounts and expanding relationships within existing customers.

  • Strong discovery, communication, presentation, negotiation, and value-selling capabilities.

  • Experience building relationships with executive stakeholders and economic buyers.

  • Working knowledge of structured enterprise sales methodologies; MEDDPICC expertise is strongly preferred.

  • Experience selling supply chain, procurement, compliance, risk-management, or related software is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and the discipline to manage territory planning, pipeline development, opportunity execution, and forecasting.

  • A collaborative, accountable approach and a strong drive to learn, grow, and win.

  • Experience selling into enterprise accounts across the Western United States is strongly preferred.

  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and to key customer locations as needed.

  • Must be based within the assigned Western U.S. territory.

Why You’ll Love Working at Exiger
  • A high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence.

  • Competitive base salary and uncapped commission opportunity.

  • Additional performance incentives, including SPIFFs and recognition awards.

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.

  • Sixteen weeks of paid parental leave.

  • Purposeful career-development programs and reimbursement for eligible educational certifications.

  • Discretionary Time Off for eligible employees, with no established maximum.

  • A collaborative environment that celebrates hustle, heart, and high performance.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
