Salsify is currently seeking a results-driven Enterprise Account Executive with proven SaaS sales experience.

Our Enterprise Account Executives are responsible for hunting and closing new opportunities with top brand manufacturers. Successful Account Executives at Salsify have the ability to work consultatively with prospects and use an "outside of the box" approach to targeting key customer accounts. Responsibilities


  • Consistently meet and exceed assigned quota associated within assigned vertical
  • Execute multiple complex sales processes concurrently
  • Employ a proven sales process to take prospects from initial interest, build business value, develop proof of concept, deliver custom proposals, and contract closure
  • Provide & maintain an accurate rolling (4x) pipeline and track sales activity in Salesforce.com
  • Accurately forecast opportunities for closure on a quarterly basis
  • Work collaboratively with Business Development team to develop territory and strengthen pipeline
  • Selling into $1B+ revenue companies

Requirements

  • Ability to present in person, on the phone, and via web conference to senior executives
  • Experience developing relationships with prospect's senior management by speaking in terms of business value
  • Ability to effectively demo the solution to prospects in early stage conversations
  • Ability to conceptualize business ideas with visuals including a good understanding of MS Powerpoint

  • Sales experience representing complex business user applications is preferred
  • Experience building a solution involving multiple users and departments
  • Salesforce.com experience is preferred

Desired Knowledge/Skills


  • BS, BA degree or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling SaaS solutions in the B2B environment
  • Experience hunting for new customers is required ($1B+ revenue companies)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
  • A proven track record of exceeding quota in a SaaS-based Enterprise Sales role is required
  • Recent experience selling to lines of business
  • Direct sales experience of SaaS solutions is required
  • Ability and willingness for 10% travel in U.S. and Canada
  • All Account Executives work out of our Headquarters in Downtown Boston.
