The Enrollment Configuration Associate leverages deep expertise of athenaOne and payer requirements to ensure new customers establish successful electronic revenue cycle connections from their first billed claim on the network. This role involves analyzing and assessing customer- and payer-specific enrollment requirements, translating client billing information (including their top payers) into athenaOne, and configuring the payer enrollment table to align with the client’s unique business model.
Further, the Enrollment Configuration Associate collaborates with the Onboarding Success Manager (OSM) to provide consultative guidance on enrollment configuration, payer requirements, and expectations, supporting OSM and client discussions as part of a seamless implementation. They are known for their deep expertise on the complexity and nuance of electronic payer enrollment and the revenue cycle capabilities of athenaOne. Their primary goal is to prevent and remove barriers to enrollment completion and mitigate enrollment-related risks to ensure timely go-live.
Job Responsibilities:
Leveraging extensive knowledge of industry practices and processes, assess enrollment progress at pre-live milestones and provide expert guidance on areas of focus and potential mitigation strategies
Provide consultation to the OSM regarding athena best practices for enrollment, payer-specific behaviors, and expectations
Customize the Payer Enrollment table to meet client’s unique billing requirements
Consult on complex billing situations and resolve issues preventing enrollment completion at go-live
Typical Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or commensurate level of professional experience)
Experience working with cross-functional groups and teams to achieve common goals
Experience communicating and presenting to stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience a plus
Expected Compensation
$51,000 - $87,000The base salary range shown reflects the full range for this role from minimum to maximum. At athenahealth, base pay depends on multiple factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, how your qualifications compare to others in similar roles, and geographical market rates. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package - depending on role eligibility, we offer both short and long-term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
