We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join monday.com’s Work Management organization and lead the team behind monday.com’s Portfolio product - one of the most strategic areas of the platform. This team builds the infrastructure and tools that help organizations manage thousands of projects with confidence, clarity, and speed. From visibility and planning to risk insights and reporting, the Portfolio product empowers enterprises to execute at scale.
As Team Lead, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to define the team’s long-term vision, shape its roadmap, and guide execution. You’ll play a key role in driving both technical direction and team growth, making this an ideal role for a hands-on leader who thrives in complex environments and wants to build at the core of monday.com’s enterprise value.

About The Role
- Lead, mentor, and scale a team responsible for one of monday.com’s strategic product areas.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to define clear goals, design user-centric solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Take full ownership of the team’s delivery, architecture, and technical direction.
- Drive technical and architectural decisions that align with business and product goals.
- Play a key role in the group’s leadership forums, contributing to both strategy and team growth.
- Champion engineering best practices, strong delivery processes, and a culture of ownership and learning.
- Support individual growth through mentorship, feedback, and development planning.
Our Stack
Node.js, Ruby on Rails, ReactJS, Kubernetes, AWS, Redis, MySQL. We build in a microservices and microfrontends environment, enabling fast iteration and high product velocity.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and delivering high-quality, production-scale software.
- Strong hands-on experience building and shipping web applications end-to-end in a modern, fast-paced environment.
- Experienced in full-stack development with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and reliability.
- Proven ability to navigate complexity, prioritize effectively, and lead with resilience and focus.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability - balances speed with strategic thinking.
- Passion for building product-oriented solutions that make a real impact for users.
- Effective communicator who builds trust, alignment, and strong cross-functional relationships.
- Experience with AI-powered product development or internal AI tooling - either as a direct contributor or technical leader - advantage.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (preferred, not required).
