What you'll do:
- Partner with the Electrical Engineering team, Production, and other cross-functional teams to support critical product testing and deliveries
- Perform benchtop PCBA testing and debugging
- Perform rework on PCBAs, harnesses, and other mechanical assemblies
- Design simple PCBs, mechanical fixtures, and harnessing
- Respond to emergent issues on the production floor to keep the line moving
- Contribute to and attend cross-functional design reviews. Advocate for design changes that result in simpler rework and testing processes
- Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications:
- Experience with hands-on technical work in a high-volume production setting.
- Experience performing benchtop testing.
- Experience performing PCBA and harness rework.
- Experience designing and maintaining engineered systems.
- Understanding of fundamental engineering concepts, including EE, Mech E, Programming, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects, which can be from an internship, job, club, team, personal project, etc.
- Demonstrated history of showing ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results.
- Record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
