About Us

Chainlink Labs is the primary contributing developer of Chainlink, the decentralized computing platform powering the verifiable web. Chainlink is the industry-standard platform for providing access to real-world data, offchain computation, and secure cross-chain interoperability across any blockchain. Chainlink Labs helps power verifiable applications for banking, DeFi, global trade, and gaming by collaborating with some of the world’s largest financial institutions, notably Swift, DTCC, and ANZ. Chainlink Labs also works with top Web3 teams, including Aave, Compound, GMX, Maker, and Synthetix. Chainlink Labs was ranked as one of the Global Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces by Newsweek 2025.

About The Role

Chainlink decentralized oracle networks provide tamper-proof inputs, outputs, and computations to support advanced smart contracts on any blockchain. As the ecosystem continues to grow at an explosive pace we are building the infrastructure to further secure the reliability of our networks and incentivize good behavior.

As the Engineering Manager for the Chainlink Deployments (CLD) team, you will lead a talented group of engineers responsible for developing and maintaining the Chainlink Deployments Platform, which empowers the product engineering teams with standardized deployment and operational management capabilities. The platform offers comprehensive automation, secure multi-chain integrations, and self-service tooling, enabling teams to independently and securely manage their operational workflows.

The Go-based framework automates on-chain and off-chain system deployments using self-contained Go-based GitHub Actions. These actions ensure operational reliability, security, consistency, and auditable standards across the entire deployment lifecycle.

Your Impact
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Software and SRE engineers,  fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

  • Drive the ongoing development and improvement of the CLD framework, including cross-chain contract deployment and configuration, Chainlink node network management, and secure multisig contract interactions.

  • Define clear operational standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and efficiency in deployments and operations.

  • Partner closely with product, infrastructure, and data platform teams to solve integration challenges, streamline standardized data flows, and manage state effectively.

  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration by providing transparent documentation, intuitive self-service tooling, and proactive support for product engineering teams.

  • Champion best practices in reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability across the CLD team.

  • Manage team productivity and project delivery through effective planning, clear communication, and agile methodologies.

  • Recruit, onboard, and grow top engineering talent, enhancing both the team’s capabilities and the overall organizational culture.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Proven experience managing engineering teams focused on deployment frameworks, automation, and operational tooling in complex engineering environments.

  • Experience managing the engineering and delivery of internal engineering tools and platforms for globally distributed internal customers.

  • Proven experience in building and leading teams responsible for mission-critical tooling and infrastructure.

  • Strong understanding of secure contract management, multisig operations, and configuration management in decentralized or distributed environments, preferably involving both EVM and non-EVM chains.

  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement operational standards, documentation, and self-service tooling effectively.

  • Experience collaborating closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, managing expectations, priorities, and delivery timelines.

  • A servant-leadership approach that empowers teams to achieve excellence through clear vision, guidance, and support.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving technologies and shifting priorities.

Preferred Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in blockchain technologies, decentralized applications, or related Web3 infrastructure.

  • Technical expertise in distributed systems architecture and cross-chain integration.

  • Familiarity with security best practices, secure artifact management, and compliance in software delivery.

  • Experience working with a team located across multiple time zones

  • Active participant, or interest in, the blockchain ecosystem
