As an Engineering Manager focusing on ML and AI, you will lead a talent-dense, US-based team tasked with automating workflows across our SaaS platform, enabling tenants to book more freight with lower costs. This role is ideal for a technical leader with a strong background in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. You will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of our AI initiatives, mentoring a team of engineers, and collaborating closely with product managers and designers to deliver innovative solutions that optimize freight transportation logistics.

Our cloud-native environment utilizes Azure, .NET/C#, CosmosDB, and Cognitive Search. We leverage a variety of AI and ML frameworks and tools to build predictive models, optimize operations, and develop intelligent reporting systems. Our frontend technologies include JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Dart, and Flutter, with monitoring and alerting managed via Azure Monitor & Application Insights.
Minimum Qualifications- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years focusing on machine learning, AI, and data science.
- Proven track record in developing and deploying ML models and AI solutions at scale.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java, with strong knowledge of ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and deploying AI/ML solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Experience in leading and managing engineering teams, with a focus on AI and ML project execution.
- Strong understanding of data engineering and the ability to work with large-scale data processing and analysis.
- Familiarity with Azure ML services, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment.
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry, providing insight into industry-specific challenges and opportunities for AI applications.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to deliver impactful AI solutions.
