As a Data Engineering Manager you will be part of the core data team building out world class data products that will be in front of our largest customers. You will be working on the intersection of all data streams in the company from our IOT data consuming 100s of thousands of data points per minute to our user data. You will partner closely with both the Product, Engineering, as well as the Strategic Analytics teams. We are seeking strong team players who thrive on innovation and continuous improvement. We pride ourselves on our culture, and ability to work effectively across a highly diversified team.
What You'll Do:- Build data roadmap for the data engineering team building both internal and external data products.
- Drive innovation in our data products with the application of AI in both the processes we work on to the products we deliver.
- Build teams to scale out our maturing set of analytics products.
- Be deeply technical and continue to code and drive technical standards within the team.
- Architect and design data models in collaboration with data and product teams
- Communicate effectively and drive strategy across multiple teams and projects.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field, e.g. Computer Science, Math, Economics, or Statistics
- 10+ years experience in Data Engineering, and 3+ years managing a team
- Expertise with data engineering stack, dBt, Snowflake, airflow, data observability tools, AWS, pyspark.
- Expertise in SQL and Python
- Great planning and roadmapping skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and people skills
