Full Stack Software Engineer

What does your typical day look like?

In the morning, checking on some daily stats, and dig into the data if any metrics are unexpected. After that, my days are varied, sometimes I'm scripting large infrastructural changes in Python. Some days I'm meeting with members of other teams to gather information for a test I am going to run, or learning or teaching a skill to other analysts...

What makes someone successful on your team?

This is one of the most asked questions I get, and one that's constantly evolving. We hire self-starters who are eager to drive measurable business impact. Sounds fairly straightforward - but in practice, it's a bit more nuanced. Being able to prioritize and stay focused on what is best for SmarterTravel is the primary focus for all of our employee
