As a Senior QA Automation / Software Development for Test Engineer at CA Veracode, you will work closely with software developers and other Quality Engineers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality SaaS-based products in a timely and cost-effective manner.  Specific duties and responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking, automating testing and participating in day-to-day QA activities for our Dynamic Scan product platform.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in various design and backlog refining discussions
• Automate system, integration, and component level regression test cases
• Expand existing or introduce new automation frameworks to support implementation and execution of automated tests
• Performance testing and scalability testing
• Collaborate with other developers and project stakeholders to ensure quality of deliverables and that business requirements are met

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Comp Sci or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance/software testing and programming
• Java and/or Python skill for automating tests and creating feature test pages
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other public cloud platform experience
• Experience working in an Agile Development environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and a part of a team

• Serverless architectures
• Java multi-threading
• Experience with SaaS based software solutions
• Experience with basic network communications protocols  
• Experience with Java profiling tools
