Job Summary

Summary:

The Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer will work with a team of Developers, QA, and other stakeholders in the design and development of new features in the industry leading PowerScribe platform for radiology reporting. PowerScribe is the industry leading speech solution for radiologists and pathologists, having over 80% of the market penetration.

Responsibilities:

• Work with various operating platforms (Windows) and third-party SDKs in the production of software and systems to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across teams.
• Experience implementing unit tests and applying a Test Driven Development mindset. 

Required skills:

• 7+ years of work experience
• Solid knowledge of C#, .Net (MFC, WPF, WCF, REST)
• Solid knowledge of C++
• Strong experience with web service development
• Demonstrated OOD experience
• Multithreaded and networked software development on embedded systems

Preferred Skills:

• JavaScript, HTML 5
• Experience in Healthcare field, especially applications with the doctor/patient encounter and clinical documentation capture/improvement
• Experience with a cloud platform, such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with database design and schemas
  Conversant with UX design principles applied to application design

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics preferred.
