Jobcase is seeking a strong Backend heavy problem-solving Software Engineer to join our Job Search team, that will help develop our next generation job search platform. Today, Jobcase hosts 110+ million registered members, 20+ million unique monthly visitors and Comscore ranks us as the 3rd largest online career resource.

What you’ll be doing here:

• Participate in the planning, development, and deployment of the infrastructure that powers Jobcase’s job search related services.
• Partner with engineers and managers across the organization to understand and solve technical challenges.
• Tackle interesting and challenging problems on large scale dataset, high performance, availability and reliability requirements

About you and your skills:

• 2+ years of software development experience, especially in developing back end applications in Java 
• 1+ years of database experience (MySql or other relational databases preferred)
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Solr/Elasticsearch, or Python is a plus
• A proactive, curious mindset
