Senior Software Quality Engineer
Bullhorn, Inc. seeks a full time Senior Software Quality Engineer at our offices located at 100 Summer Street, 17th Floor, Boston, MA 02110.
Job Duties:
Lead quality initiatives within the QA Department, and collaborate closely with Development and Product Management teams to ensure quality representation throughout the design and development process;
Monitor projects during initial rollout, deployment and production support;
Report issue status to clients and assist with client User Acceptance Testing preparations;
Monitor QA team’s performance and address technical and quality engineering concerns affecting solution implementation;
Write and manage automation test suites to ensure the quality of the applications in the dynamic product environment utilizing Protractor automation framework;
Conduct and analyze testing, record data and communicate results to software developers for appropriate actions;
Ensure test plans are developed for each project to confirm software being tested satisfies the requirements outlined in the product specifications and Bullhorn’s software quality standards; and
Provide feedback and recommendations to established organizational procedures to improve testing methods and processes.
Position Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related academic field, plus three years of experience in the Job Offered or in any software quality assurance role. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related academic field, plus five years of progressive experience in the Job Offered or in any software quality assurance role. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, to include each of the following:
three years of experience developing and executing automated test plans using Selenium and TestNG frameworks;
three years of experience performing API web services testing utilizing Java, JavaScript, and GitLab; and
two years of software testing experience including user interface, backend services and database testing utilizing Test Rail, JIRA and Protractor.
Position requires domestic travel (<10%).
