We’re seeking a strong Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help create the experiences that our members will use as they navigate all aspects of their work life - from their job search, to how they present themselves to employers, to community support and resources. What you’ll be doing here:

  • Plan, develop, and deploy Jobcases’ member-facing websites and the microservices that power them.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional agile teams throughout the business to give input into the end-to-end customer experience
  • Build software with performance, security, scalability, and resilience as default characteristics
  • Deeply understand and drive our business strategy through not just technology-based innovation but also in influencing our product agenda

What you'll bring:

  • 5+ years of software development experience, especially in Java and React or similar languages
  • Experience working in a customer-oriented product development environment on high-scale systems
  • Comfort and fluency with data, as our teams leverage extensive data-driven testing and data-informed decision-making
  • A sense of curiosity and communication skills to contribute to growing yourself and your peers

Great to have:

  • Fluency in a microservice based environment that incorporate principles of lean software development and DevOps
  • Familiarity with event driven architectures
  • Experience with cloud-based AWS design patterns
  • Native App development experience
