Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in iOS to join our team based in the Dania Beach, FL or Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate succeeds in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and has a passion for both the business and the technology. You will be responsible for scaling our UI Automation efforts across the iOS eCommerce apps. What you'll do:

• Lead the creation of our new iOS automation test suite
• Build test infrastructure to fit into our CI platform
• Provide peer feedback in design and code reviews
• Ensure the technical solutions follow best practices and are reliable, easily maintainable, and scalable
• Create and review test cases to maximize potential for automated test execution
• Provide feature and release readiness feedback to stakeholders and developers
• Evaluate new tools and testing methodologies
• Position may require some travel

What you'll need:

• At least four years of experience in a SDET role focused on iOS 
• Works well in a team environment 
• Excellent customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills
• Expertise with Objective-C or Swift (preferred)
• Proven experience in writing high quality, reusable code with minimal defects
• Experience with UI automation for iOS
• Experience creating automation infrastructure and large scale automation test suites
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field 

Bonus:

• Knowledge of Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of Android automation testing
