We are seeking a talented individual who will be part of the Cloud Analytics & Portal team. The team is focused on enabling self-service reporting & data visualization, and helping our customers deliver value through data. As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will:

• Mentor and lead the front-end development team
• Meet with the broader product development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications
• Review application requirements, identify user interactions, and implement highly-responsive user interface components using well-known React.js workflows
• Develop and implement front-end architecture to support user interface concepts
• Ensure that these UI components and the overall application are robust, well tested, and easy to maintain
• Help diagnose, troubleshoot and communicate the technical issues our customers face while using our platform and implement frontend development tasks
• Monitor and improve front-end performance
• Document application changes and develop updates

Requirements

You have at least 7 years of front-end development with a successful track record of delivering projects on time (minimum two projects or major code releases delivered start to finish). You have demonstrated experience in creating progressive web applications using React that perform well under load. Methodical, detail oriented, and well organized, you are results driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and you excel at time management. You are eager to learn new technologies to improve frontend and engineering processes.

The following skills are required:

• 5+ years experience with React.js, Redux, and associated libraries
• 7+ years experience with Javascript; Knowledge of Typescript is preferred
• 7+ years experience with HTML and CSS
• Deep understanding of JSON data structures and how to design and integrate them
• Experience using a design system such as Material UI or Bootstrap
• Experience with Unit Testing for React.js components
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
• Have the confidence to work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas

These skills are a plus:

• Understanding of Amazon Web Services, DevOps, and web applications built on AWS infrastructure
• Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation and Cyber Security Technologies
• Mobile app development experience
• Angular development experience
