Job Summary

Summary: Senior QA Engineer focused on testing mobile applications, desktop applications and SDKs in the Healthcare industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for documenting, developing and executing test cases for Healthcare Mobile products. Additionally, the candidate will be required to work with other members of the development and QA teams using the Agile software development process. The candidate should have strong testing and troubleshooting skills, a quick learner and willing to take on new challenges. The candidate should also have experience running automated tests and migrating manual test cases to an automation framework.

 

Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand and review requirement documents for test plan development
• Create/Update and execute test cases that provide full coverage on new and changed functionality
• Ability to set up testing environments using various tools
• Use and develop troubleshooting techniques that minimize the turnaround time of issue identification
• Report defects in a clear and concise manner in order to support the team in troubleshooting root cause
• Participate in defect triage meetings with development
• Ensure product meets all relevant requirements and Nuance quality standards

• Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for securing.

 

Qualifications

Number of Years of Work Experience: 5

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience in working with Agile methodology within a geographically-distributed team
  • Energetic team player willing to take on new assignments and to learn new tools/technologies
  • Use of defect tracking/test case management tools (Atlassian toolset a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies (TDD, BDD unit tests), process, and improvement implementation
  • Experience with test case management tools (qTest, SilkCentral)
  • Experience with automation runners (NUnit, Selenium)
  • Flexible in working under changing and different work settings
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and written

Preferred Skills:

  • Healthcare Industry experience
  • Mobile Automation Testing experience
  • Speech recognition industry experience
  • Experience with Nuance products
  • IaaS and PaaS environment experience such as Microsoft Azure, including CI/CD
  • Scripting experience (Perl, Python, Javascript, etc.)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
