Are you looking for a role where you can influence the digital transformation and evolution of eCommerce for a beloved athletic brand? We are looking for someone who wants to lead our eCommerce engineering team and work with global stakeholders to engage our customers and deliver business value. 

In this role you’ll lead a team that is using an array of technologies including SalesForce CommerceCloud, SalesForce ServiceCloud, Salesforce MarketingCloud, MuleSoft, Salsify and AWS. You’ll build high trust relationships with your team as you support their career development and the technical vision and execution of the team. We expect you to have a strong technical foundation and to have worked on large scale eCommerce projects in the past. We are looking for someone that will apply experience and insights and to identify optimizations and improvements in how we deliver our software. 

ASICS Digital is a division of ASICS based in Boston, Massachusetts. Our goal is to build digital technologies to better connect the ASICS brand to its consumers. We are responsible for the continued development of mobile-fitness solutions such as ASICS Runkeeper and ASICS Studio, global eCommerce platforms, and supporting digital services that encourage people to move, get fit and stay balanced. 

Responsibilities

• Drive the team to deliver and execute the technical and product roadmap for the eCommerce platform. 
• Own the technical roadmap and evolution of the commerce platform in coordination with other technical platform owners and business stakeholders. 
• Develop the careers and technical capabilities of a team of local and remote engineers across multiple technical areas and platforms. 
• Grow the team’s capabilities to deliver on the changing needs of the global ASICS business. 
• Identify opportunities for improvement in engineering practices and software delivery. 
• Contribute to the technical leadership team and our shared values of creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work community. 
• Invest, develop, and maintain relationships with global stakeholders. 
• Collaborate with regional eCommerce leadership, local project management, product management and vendors. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience with the last 2+ years in a people management role. 
• 2+ years of eCommerce experience in a global setting (SalesForce CommerceCloud is a huge plus). 
• Demonstrated experience growing the careers and practices of a software development team. 
• Demonstrated experience leading projects on a global scale 
• Strong communication skills
