The Role
Aura is looking for a senior level DevSecOps engineer with extensive cloud infrastructure as code and devops pipeline
automation experience. As a DevOps Engineer joining this exciting team m n , you will be involved in all aspects of
supporting feature development and infrastructure tooling. We run a high volume event based system across multiple
teams that you will integrate closely with.
Responsibilities

  • Develop "infrastructure as code" automation using Terraform, Helm charts, Cloudformation, Serverless, SAM or
    Amplify
  • Develop and maintain build and deployment pipelines that automate for Continuous Integration and Continuous
    Deployment using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
  • Be involved from inception of projects, understanding requirements, designing & developing solutions for the
    cloud, and incorporating them into the designs of our platforms
  • Assist in monitoring existing infrastructure as well as improving and expanding upon our monitoring tools
  • Assist in debugging production errors in AWS and be capable to follow requests and events through the system
    via the Cloudwatch ecosystem
  • Extend, and maintain AWS based infrastructure as well as assist with AWS reporting via custom AWS-SDK
    scripting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with DataOps Engineering and our Technology teams


Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in the DevOps, software, and systems disciplines
  • Demonstrable background in building, securing, and scaling AWS infrastructure and resources - AWS certifications
    and working knowledge of AWS deployments
  • Strong experience in build and deployment automation and pipeline strategies for a complex stack of
    applications/services/micro services on AWS
  • Experience with source code management systems such as Git, including branching and release strategies
  • Demonstrable capabilities in troubleshooting issues and supporting the operation of production infrastructure


Nice To Have

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • First-hand experience with Hashicorp tools like Terraform, Helm, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub actions, CircleCI, ArgoCD, etc.
  • Solid expertise in one or more cloud native databases such as RDS, DynamoDB, MongoDB is required
  • Scripting experience in either Python, JavaScript, or Bash
