Tamr is expanding our Technical and Sales/Go-To-Market alliance efforts with SAP to help Tamr scale through technical and sales alignment with this strategic partner. We need an experienced resource skilled in database/enterprise data analytics and the SAP technical ecosystem to drive Tamr’s technology roadmap, pre-sales engineering and technical partnership with SAP.

You will help expand Tamr's industry footprint by ensuring Tamr is technically aligned with and integrated with key SAP products and technologies. As the go-to technical expert for the SAP-Tamr partnership, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing the most impactful technical integrations and product enhancements required to ensure overall performance of Tamr with and within the customers’ SAP environments.

In addition, the role will provide pre-sales engineering support on customer calls and engaging in sales motions where SAP technical expertise is required. This is a high visibility role whereby you interact directly with the product as well as engineering leadership. Tamr has industry leading joint reference customers with SAP and is available via the SAP Store. The opportunity to leverage the partnership momentum and take this strategic relationship to the next level and beyond is truly exceptional. 

Responsibilities include:

• Defines and drives SAP-related product integration opportunities with Tamr
• Collaborates with functional internal and external Tamr teams on SAP solution development, enablement, and go-to-market.
• ​​Develops and maintains demo environments
• Provides tactical support of presales SAP opportunities by working with the Tamr presales team and calling upon cloud partner resources to help accelerate a sales opportunity to closure
• Collaborates with SAP partner teams to identify new market opportunities for technical integrations with Tamr

Ideal experience:

• Significant understanding of the system processes and configurations with SAP systems, including: HANA Database, Business Technology Platform, SAP API Integration, Master Data Governance, SAP Data Intelligence
• 7-10 years of experience developing application interface solutions utilized in complex data integration scenarios
• Experience in pre-sales engineering, customer support, and sales processes
• Hands on experience with HANA
• Product Management experience 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player is a must!

This position is based in Cambridge MA- flexible on location within the US/North America.
