POSITION:
The Salesforce QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality of functionality in PI’s Salesforce organization, which powers the daily operations for our 600+ certified partners, 1,500+ users and 8,000+ customers. The Salesforce QA Specialist will use their creativity to uncover undesired application behavior, execute and maintain automated regression tests under the direction of a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, and work with a team of Salesforce Admins and Developers to improve the quality of features released to production.
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Lead refinement and execution of our QA process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, writing/executing automated tests, and performing manual tests (when appropriate) of new or updated functionality.
- Create/update system documentation including configuration changes, data mapping requirements, functional designs, test cases and deployment plans.
- Document bugs and other unexpected behavior to triage cases received from customers and other departments within PI
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure functionality aligns with business requirements and accounts for edge cases
- Act as a subject matter expert for downstream impacts of application modifications and associated regression testing requirements
- Execute, modify, document, and maintain automated tests under the direction of a Salesforce DevOps Engineer
- Work in an agile and dynamic environment to facilitate timely responses to changing project requirements and company objectives.

- Either 1-2 years of experience in a QA testing or similar role or a bachelor’s degree in a technology related discipline like computer science or information systems
- An obsession with quality
- An aptitude and enthusiasm for breaking things
- Sharp communication skills
- Strong conceptual understanding of technology, especially relational database structure and forming queries
- Experience using Salesforce (If you don’t have this yet it’s not too late! Check out trailhead.salesforce.com). Any Salesforce certification is a huge plus
