Job Summary

Nuance Healthcare is looking for a SRE/ Software Engineer. This engineer will be helping to deliver Nuance’s Healthcare solutions in the public cloud using latest and greatest cloud technologies. Our charter is to create resilient systems at scale supporting most doctors in the United States. The role will be on the development team, working hand in hand with other engineers to create automated cloud deployments using Azure Devops, configure monitoring, logging, networking, etc. early in the development lifecycle. This will be an extremely fulfilling role as our team is chartered with creating reference architecture and deployment methodologies for other teams in R&D and we have time to get our deployment methodologies right the first time. You will be working with some of the top architects at Nuance to make sure we are following best practices. There will be opportunities to contribute towards develop software outside infrastructure deployment as well. You will also be responsible for Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure.

 Required:

• Experience with automated deployments to public cloud such as Azure, AWS, or Google cloud platform , using scripts or templating (such as ARM or Terraform)
• CI/CD pipeline experience - Jenkins / Azure Devops / Bamboo
• Mastery of at least one scripting language such as python, powershell, bash, batch etc.
• Experience with relational DBs: My SQL, MS SQL or equivalent
• Complete software life cycle experience, including deployment to production

 Preferred:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Configuration management using Salt or similar
• Linux administration experience
• Network administration experience in a public cloud
• Experience deploying web services (load balancing, domain registration, etc.)
• Object Oriented Programming Expertise (c# or java)
