Network Engineer

CrunchTime! is looking to add a highly motivated Network Engineer to our infrastructure engineering team. We're looking for an experienced candidate with solid experience in network design, operational support, and a focus on best practices. While this is network focused position, Linux and/or scripting experience is huge plus.
Candidates can be local to Boston or Remote (some travel may be required).
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all network infrastructure components.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance issues.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams.
- Participate in operational issue escalations to resolution.
- Design, configuration, and implementation of new network solutions as our infrastructure and requirements grow.
Skills and Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience supporting Cisco network infrastructure
- Must be able to multitask and work under deadlines.
- Must exhibit strong troubleshooting skills.
- Able to collaborate well with a team of engineers from multiple disciplines.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical problems in terms that are easy to understand.
- Highly organized, communicative, and excellence in work is a point of pride. Experience configuring networking equipment to provide audit
- level logging in a secure environment.
- Solid experience, understanding, and implementation of the following:
- Standard switching/routing concepts
- Cisco Nexus/IOS
- Palo Alto Firewalls
- BGP
- OSPF
- RIP
- EIGRP/IGRP
- HSRP/VRRP
- Hardware LoadBalancers (Netscaler experience a plus)
