Responsibilities

 

The Lead Technology Leadership Professional works with design engineering and test team to drive products from design completion to volume production release. Performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements. Interacts with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

  • Lead the delivery activities within one or more working teams.

  • Determine detailed activity breakdown structures.

  • Assign tasks to resources allocated to their work-streams.

  • Accumulate and provide periodic status, communication, and appropriate escalation.

  • Assist engineers with Domain or Technical knowledge gaps.

  • Ensure delivery timelines are being met.

  • Work with Product Owners and Architects to ensure understanding of deliverables as well as to offer input and guidance into solution approaches.

  • Work with managers, architects, business users, and team members to evaluate and provide team estimates for project and work requests.

  • Mentor individuals and teams, working with resource managers on potential coaching situations.

  • Advance the adoption of new techniques, tools, and processes to streamline delivery capabilities.

  • Audit and provide feedback to team members regarding standards adherence, design principles, and expected patterns of work.

               

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of software engineering or application architect experience

  • 5+ years of experience working with cloud based technologies

  • 2+ years of experience managing large team or large scale projects

  • Understanding DevOps and release management principles

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail

  • Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes

  • Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders

  • Advanced experience leading special projects, producing metrics, measurements, and trend reports

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other Advanced Degree

  • Cloud certifications

  • SAFe Agile certification

  • Experience with API development

  • FHIR interoperability experience

  • Six Sigma certification

  • ITIL certification
