Java Developer - Content Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In addition to development tasks, promote collaboration and cross team design/testing/implementation coordination as it relates to ECM team deliverables
- Works independently on mid to high-complexity projects
- Looks for and promotes ways to improve operations
- Coordination of code and data migration tasks based on project schedules, which may be required outside normal business hours
- Level 4 application support, which may require occasional work outside of normal business hours
- Operates independently on multiple/simultaneous project tasks:
- Non-functional requirements for application specific components
- Responsible for driving designs to ensure they align with architectural roadmap and can be adhered to within project schedule and budget
- Participate in Peer Reviews of designs and code
- Design of effective and easily supported integrations that satisfy the business need while adhering to standard patterns; identifies requirement/design/coding/testing gaps, foresees potential problems and dependencies between system integration designs/hand-offs
- Participate in defining the team's strategy including technologies and operations
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications:
- Seasoned individual, minimum of 8 years development experience, capable of handling broad scope projects that have short to medium-term focus
- Experience or working knowledge of:
- Java programming
- JBOSS
- Docker Containers
- XML / XSD, JSON
- Web Services / API's
- SQL / Relational DB technologies
- Scripting languages
- CI/CD Deployments (i.e. Jenkins)
- Documenting technical workflows
- Ability to align with EST business hours
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Financial Services/Insurance industry
- Familiarity with IBM FileNet P8 APIs
- Familiarity with IBM DataCap
- Experience using Maven, POM files, Artifactory, dependency management, etc.
- .Net coding experience
- Working knowledge/experience developing with streaming technologies (i.e. Kafka)
- Working knowledge/experience developing/deploying in AWS
