We are now looking for an outstanding Deep Learning Solution Architect to join our team. The team’s main responsibility is to support customers in the United States across a range of verticals. To make sure customers’ AI applications run efficiently on Lightmatter’s photonic accelerator.
In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, while staying current on state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and approaches. You will help customers take full advantage of Lightmatter’s technology by working collaboratively with them to port, and optimize their algorithms to exploit the unique characteristics of Lightmatter’s photonic accelerator.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop strong technical relationships with researchers and engineers at our customers and partners and help them to optimize their workloads for Lightmatter’s photonic accelerator
- Support Sales teams as they engage new customers, understanding their machine learning challenges and describing how Lightmatter’s technology is uniquely positioned to solve their problems
- Work with the Product Management and Engineering to ensure a good flow of customer and market feedback that can be incorporated into future products
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience in Machine Learning, or HPC
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar field
- Experience working with modern Deep Learning software architecture and applications
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Caffe, Theano/Torch, or other Deep Learning Frameworks
- Customer facing skill-set and background as well as the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Action-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating and prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives
- Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to effectively interface with management and engineering
- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience deploying machine learning algorithms in production environments at scale
- Masters or PhD in related science or engineering field
- Experience with C/C++, parallel programming and knowledge of computer architectures
- Experience working with computational accelerators (i.e., GPU, DSP, FPGA, etc…)
- Experience with OpenMP, MPI and other parallel programming languages
