CTO (Chief Technology Officer)
Reporting to the CEO, the CTO is accountable for all aspects of Information Technology within the company, comprising of New Feature Development, Cloud Infrastructure Management and Production Systems Operation by leading a team of two VP of Engineering, Senior Director Technology Operations, Director Platform Product Management and Chief Architect.
The CTO is responsible for the company’s overall IT strategy delivery, anticipates and ensuring scalability of technology, processes, and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and ensure delivery to achieve company objectives
- Monitor and scale performance and responsiveness
- Grow, develop and organise IT teams worldwide
- Ensure system permits integration of new SOPHiA algorithms in a scalable way
- Ensure development environment interfaces smoothly with production
- Execute delivery with different VPs/teams in collaboration with Data Science R&D and Platform Team
- Ensure Platform Development meets Global Regulatory Strategy for Medical Devices
- Responsible for operational cost management and budget
- Maintain relationship with external stakeholders and represent company at important external sales, events, and conferences
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role, in a fast growing environment
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills

- Problem-solving aptitude
- Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
